John A. (Al) Hardey, Sr.

John A. (Al) Hardey, Sr. died peacefully the morning of Sunday, June 23, following a lengthy illness. Al put up a good fight the last few days, but took his last breath in the presence of his three sons. He leaves behind his wife of more than 60 years, Carolyn Schwartzcop Hardey, three surviving siblings, six children, ten grandchildren, one great grand-daughter, and a large extended family. His gifts of generosity and love touched too many to count. A professional engineer and builder, Al conducted business with a hand shake, made friends feel like family, and family like royalty. If you choose to send flowers, please send to the church ONLY and schedule for delivery ONLY on the morning of the service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Dad's name, in honor of Carolyn Hardey.
