Jerry Wayne Goodwin

Jerry Wayne Goodwin, age 67, passed away on August 10, 2011 unexpectedly due to heart failure. A world traveler and revolutionary engineer, he enjoyed the fruits of this earth to the fullest. He was loved by everyone he ever met and will be missed by all he knew. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Goodwin; four "beautiful children" in his words- Dax, Chad, Angelique and Zachary Goodwin; and seven beautiful grandsons. He is also survived by his brother, Ralph Goodwin, of AL; a sister, Nancy Goodwin Devers; a nephew and niece whom he thought of as his own, Gary Webb and his children Ashley and Krista and Peggy Moore, her husband Hippie and their children Joseph and Nicholas; and a dear aunt, Frances Powell.Although gone from our sight, you will never be forgotten. We love you, our "freebird".
