Jeffrey Michael Pate was born on March 7th 1979 to Donna Sue and John Pate in Dallas, TX. He went home to heaven on February 28th 2026 at the age of 46 years old after a hard valiant fight against Kidney cancer. We do not look at this as cancer won, rather a victory because he is with our Father.
Jeff grew up loving fishing and frequently went fishing with his grandfather. His grandfather taught him how to be a man as well as fish and hunt. He spent summers with his grandmother running around, riding bikes, swimming and doing what boys do in the summertime.
Jeff worked in manufacturing and loved it. He learned how to work a robot welder, which he loved doing. He became a little bit of a jack of all trades, always willing to help where they needed him. He loved his job at Bison Profab, and the people he worked with. We will forever be grateful for the love and support from Bison in our hardest trial. Because of their generosity, we were able to fight this fight as hard and long as we could. Thank you guys for keeping space for him.
Jeffs hobbies were playing with RC cars, fishing, boating, and traveling. He loved the water. It provided him peace and tranquility, and he loved chasing those sunsets to send photos to his wife. He was a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and loved to cheer for them at every opportunity he had.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Denise and daughter Diana Sue. His mother in law Robin Huse and husband Vince, father in law Tim Kuehl and his wife Cathie, father in law David Kelly, his sister in laws Nancy Rodriguez and her husband Cim, Arnette Grabowski and her boyfriend Charlie, Robin Wiginton and her husband Ryan, and Jenny Gonzalez; his brother in law Billy Brown and wife Kelly; His nieces Ava, Mia, and Ella Gonzalez, Rhayana Hammons and her husband Ashton, Sarah Killian and her husband Tyler, his nephew Justin Pate and his fiancee Heather Johnson. His sister Lisa Pate, his best friend Tim Harp and wife Becca, and a slew of great nephews and nieces.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, his mother-in-law Diana Lynn Kuehl, mother-in-law Trish Kelly, his aunt in law Barbara Wuthrich, good friend Dr Edward Perez, and good friend Brent Stone.
His celebration of life will be held at Eickenhorst Funeral Services on March 7th, 2026 at 11 am Located at 12412 FM 2854, Conroe, TX 77304. We are celebrating his life and his heavenly birthday, so please wear a fishing shirt, anything Kansas City Chiefs, or a funny shirt that makes you laugh.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider putting that money towards Diana’s future, whether it is for college, vocational school or beyond. You can scan the QR code and it will be directly deposited into Diana’s ACORN account.
The family wants to say thank you to every one who has been here for them and who has helped in this hard time. There are no words adequate enough to express our gratefulness.
