Jeannie Bruce

Delores (Jeannie) Bruce, 74, passed away peacefully in her home on June 10, 2025. She was born in Cleveland, TX on February 16, 1951 and was raised there until moving to Conroe at the age of 16. Jeannie graduated from Conroe High School and worked for CISD for 10 years before changing careers and serving as a branch manager for Woodforest Bank. She was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Conroe, TX.

Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Bobby Bruce; sons, Mark Bruce of Houston, TX and Kevin Bruce of Superior, CO; granddaughter, Elise Bruce; grandson, Jackson Bruce; brother, Russell Moss and wife, Debbie; sister, Vikki Hunter and husband, Pete; numerous brothers in law and sisters in law and an abundance of relatives she loved. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter Moss and Delores Roach and step father, Hal Roach; and sister, Debbie Ruthledge.

A private family graveside service will be held at Ebenezer Cemetery in Huntsville. A public visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 3pm to 6pm at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 12412 FM 2854 Rd, Conroe, TX 77304. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make donations to First Baptist Church of Conroe Pastoral Care.
