Jeanne Andrews Brunson, 67 of Huntsville, Texas peacefully passed away on July 11, 2025 surrounded by her husband Michael.
Jeanne was born on February 17, 1958 to Roland and Dorothy Andrews in Bangor, Maine. After Jeanne graduated from Brewer High School in 1976 she pursued a degree in nursing at Eastern Maine Medical Center School of Nursing and graduated in 1979. After graduation, she worked in Maine until 1991 when she moved to Texas and began working at The Texas Heart Institute headed by Dr. Denton Cooley as a surgical nurse. She also was a member of a liver transplant team at St.Luke's Hospital. She later became a Registered Nurse First Assist (RNFA). She worked in The Woodlands assisting in heart surgery and later transitioned to plastic surgery. Jeanne and Michael spent most of their holidays, vacations and summers returning to Jeanne's beloved family in Maine.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Michael Brunson of 27 years, mother, Dorothy Andrews, brother, Mark and wife, Laurie Andrews, beloved niece, Emily and wife, Megan Andrews, nieces, Myron and Della Andrews, stepdaughter, Heather and husband, Tate Darge, stepson, Nicholas and wife, Stephanie Brunson, grandson, Tyler Darge, and soon to be Donald Brunson, sister in law Donna, Leslie, Myra and husband John, and special family friend Laurie True, along with many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends including those in the medical community.
She is preceded in death by father, Roland Andrews, father in law Don and wife Lois Brunson, brother in law, Steve Brunson.
Her celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 4:30-6:30 pm at Buttermilk Events, 306 N. Danville St., Willis, TX. 77378
