James Beale Edwards

James Beale Edwards, age 66, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Conroe, Texas. He was born on February 18, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida. James felt the call to serve and enlisted in the U.S. Army and served not one, but two tours in Vietnam. He became a truck driver after his service and was also a TDCJ correctional officer. James was a true family man and was also proud of his membership at the VFW.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Jackson and Lorene Taylor Edwards; and brothers, Bill, John, and Charles Edwards. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Edwards; children, Shawnna Sandles and husband Dwayne Taylor, Michelle Edwards and husband Bruce Taylor, James Beale Edwards II and wife Jamie, Matthew London and wife Cassandra; grandchildren, Cansada Sandles, Arthur Sandles, and Blayze Gantz; James Mathew Edwards, Kameron Taylor, Jayden Carrington, and Raynee Edwards; siblings, Betty Beck and husband Robert, and Yvonne Edwards.

A celebration of James' life will be held at the Conroe VFW Post 4709, 1303 W Semands St, Conroe, Texas 77301, at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 16, 2019.
