November 7, 1961 — September 24, 2021

James Everett Baxley of Montgomery, TX was born in Alexandria, LA on November 7, 1961, to Wilbur and Louise Baxley and was called home on September 24, 2021, in The Woodlands, TX at the young age of 59. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and dear friend. Although taken entirely too soon, his memory will forever live on through those whose lives he touched.

James grew up in Houston, TX and graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1980. He started his major appliance repair company in 1989 and was in business for 32 years serving the residents of Montgomery County. When James wasn’t repairing appliances, serving alongside his wife on the Montgomery County Fair Association’s Breeding Beef Committee, or working safety for local quad racing events, he could be found with a hunting rifle or fishing pole in his hands. He went on countless hunting trips and participated in even more bass fishing tournaments. He enjoyed sharing these hobbies, and spending time with, his children and grandchildren. James was well known by his family, friends, and acquaintances for always being willing to help someone in any way he could and being able to fix just about anything.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur and Louise Baxley; wife, Pamela Rymal Baxley; brother, Kent Baxley; and granddaughter Corlyn Baxley. He is survived by his children, Daniel Baxley, Blair Parr (Andy), Alisa Herridge (Brad), and Staci Harris; grandchildren, Ashlyn Krizan (Luke), Colby Dueitt, Cody Herridge, Alana Baxley, Mason Harris, Graelynn Harris, , Hailey Herridge, and Leighton Parr; great grandchildren, Braylynn and Beau Krizan; siblings, Marlon Baxley, Celia Huntsman (Sandy), Connie Baxley (Billie), and Kerry Baxley (Pamela.)
