Hunter Eugene Lutz came into the world tiny but tough on March 29, 1990. Ten weeks premature at 3.15 pounds, Hunter didn’t take long to surpass all the milestones a full-term baby would’ve. He was a “force” from the beginning.
Hunter was smart and creative, and his boredom inspired him to re-imagine the things he had into “better” things. Give that boy two malfunctioning RC toys and he’d disassemble then re-assemble them into a fully functioning “new” RC toy. He once wired a car alarm to his bicycle. I always laughed to hear him come home and set the alarm.
Hunter was a country boy and spent his time outside. It’s where he was happiest. Riding bikes and wreaking havoc with his friends. There aren’t many trees in Cut’n’Shoot, Texas that weren’t “marked” by Hunter Lutz, because “who needs a bathroom when there’s a tree around”.
Hunter loved music, fixing things, cooking, Nana & Pa, his, Sheila & Ronda, and most of all, his son Logan. His sense of humor and ability to make people laugh never faltered even in times when he probably didn’t feel like laughing. But his smile and laugh could light up a room.
Hunter is preceded in death by his brother Bishop Avery James and his beloved NaNa and Pa, Ron and Patsy Lutz.
He is survived by his son Logan Dene Lutz. Mother, Lori Gerac, and husband Patrick. Father, Ronald Eugene Lutz. Sister, Lindsay Lutz, brothers Ashton James and Brinden Lutz. Aunts Sheila Lutz, Ronda Jones and husband Keith, Cousin Austin Jones and wife Emily. Stepfather, Chad James. Grandmother, Elaine Bates. Mother of his son, Kirsti Cochran, and Logan’s siblings Mackenzie and Kolton, many other Aunts and Uncles, and cousins.
