Howard Leff, 82, passed away peacefully on November 2nd, 2024, in The Woodlands, Texas. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Howard was born on December 10th, 1941, in New York, New York to parents Miriam and Ben Leff. He met the love of his life, Barbara Ann Hamburger, when he was working as a waiter at the Nemerson Hotel in the summer of 1960. They married on November 3rd, 1962.
Howard attended night school at Brooklyn College from January 1959 until January 1966 where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in English and minoring in Sociology. He used his degree to become a leader in the international transportation industry. Some of his proudest moments have come from his success in the business world. He loved to read, write, paint, and make models. He loved his family and friends. His children having their children was another one of his proudest moments and being called Papa was one of his greatest joys.
Howard leaves behind his daughter & and son-in-law, Peri and Parrish Haverstock. Son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Karen Leff. Grandchildren, Megan Haverstock, Tyler Terry, Braxten Leff, Hayley Leff, Branden Leff, Hannah Leff, Bradley Leff, Madison Ward, Kylie Leff, Karlie Acker, and Kaden Acker. Great Grandchildren, Lyla Leff, and Myles Terry. Brothers, Allen Liebman and Howard Hamburger. Sister, Marlene Liebman. Howard is preceded in death by both his parents and his beloved wife.
