Holly Junior Williams

Holly Junior Williams, age 75, passed away unexpectedly on February 18, 2016. He was born on April 5, 1940 in Sweetwater, Texas. He grew up and went to school in Midland, Texas. He worked as a paperboy and pulled cotton in Mosheim, Texas in the fall of 1953. After he graduated from high school in Midland in 1958, he worked for Texaco on a seismograph crew as a jug hustler, assistant recorder, recorder and finally as a party chief. He ended his career in Houston as a data analyst with 35 years of service with Texaco Inc.. He was a past member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Midland, Walnut Creek Baptist Church in Magnolia and New Hope Baptist Church in Decker Prairie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Holly Johnston and Effie Williams, and his brothers, Cecil Andrew and Billy Charles Williams. He is survived by his wife, Connie Williams; daughters, Sheri and husband Douglas Lege’ and Holly and husband Joe Gill; son, David and wife Ginny Williams; grandchildren, Brittany Lege’ Smith, Breanna Lege’, Benjamin, Matthew and Emily Williams, Dustin and Cody Adams and Heather Marshall; brothers, Robert L., Leland G and Donald R. Williams; and numerous other relatives.
