Harold James “Jimmy” Whitney, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on June 25, 2018. He was born on December 19, 1948 and as a youth he loved to play basketball. Jimmy worked at Rick’s Auto Shop in Montgomery.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Fern Whitney. He is survived by his former wife, Joan Whitney; son, Brian Whitney and wife Diane and their daughter Gleason Whitney; daughter, Elizabeth Jezisek and husband Taylor; stepdaughter and family, Meredith and Mike Watts and their children Katie and Chad Watts; stepson, John Barnes II; numerous lifelong friends and his two furry friends, Punkin and Max.
A Celebration of Jimmy’s life will be held at 12 noon on Monday, July 2, 2018 at the Lone Star Cowboy Church, 21627 Eva Street, Montgomery, Texas 77356. For those desiring, contributions may be made to the Lone Star Cowboy Church.
