October 30, 1960 — January 3, 2025

Gregory Ralph Dock was born October 30, 1960 in Jackson Michigan and died at home
January 3, 2025 in Spring, TX. Greg was raised in Port Huron, MI by his parents Ralph
& Rosemary Dock. They attended St. Stephen’s Catholic Church where Greg served as
an altar boy. He graduated from Port Huron Central High School in 1979. He then
graduated from Ferris State College in 1982 with a degree in Applied Science in
Automotive Service. Greg moved to Houston, TX in 1983 where he worked as a
mechanic and then as an Automotive Instructor at Universal Technical Institute (UTI).
He then moved to Savannah, GA with his wife and two of his daughters in 1988. Greg
and his family returned to Houston in 2000, where he returned as an instructor at UTI
and he helped write the curriculum that they still use to this day. In the fall of 2010, Greg
secured a position with Houston Community College (HCC), where he worked until his
passing.

Greg was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He always put others’ needs first
and was always first in line to lend a helping hand. He loved playing golf with his family
& friends, boating, fishing, and hunting with his son, Paul, whom he loved dearly. Over
the years, Greg has read in excess of 10,000 books. He spent time gardening and of
course he loved hockey.

Greg is preceded in death by his father, Ralph Norman Dock. He is survived by Connie,
his wife of 37 years. Daughters Stacey & Barbara Dock, Jennifer Harp and husband
Jason, Son Paul Bullion and wife Ali, daughters Courtney & Jennifer Dock.
Granddaughters Alexandra & Arianna Dock, Mila & Sophia Lara, Ellie & Morgan Harp,

Dock, brother Eric Dock and wife Kelly.

Greg’s wishes are to be cremated with no service. He wishes to be remembered in life
not death. A celebration of life will be held on a later date, in Trinity, TX at their lake
house that he loved so much. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider
making a donation to the Gregory Dock Family on GoFundMe, as he and his wife are
raising their twin granddaughters, Alexander & Arianna
