Glendon Gail Dye, Sr., age 57, passed away on June 3, 2022. He was born on February 20, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois. The family moved to Texas when he was a baby. Him being the middle of five children, and he was usually the peacekeeper. The Dye family fought hard and loved even harder. He always told people he went to the “School of Hard Knocks.”
Glendon started working with his dad in construction at a very young age. At 17, he was blessed with his first of three children. He was street smart and could build and fix absolutely anything. He helped many people in his lifetime teaching them trades and putting them to work. Most of his life was spent as a contractor working tirelessly to provide for his family. He was the life of the party and would keep you smiling. He was a very handsome momma’s boy all of his life, and that kept him in trouble.
He was lost later in life, but he is now with all of his brothers and sisters and mom and dad in Heaven.
Glendon was preceded in death by his parents, Berta Mae and Arlie Gail Dye; brothers, Scott Sanders and James “Buddy” Sanders; sisters, Debra Neely and Cindy Gilstrap. He is survived by children, Jennifer Renee Moreland, Glendon Gale Dye, Jr. and Tiffany Renee Dye; grandchildren, Mason Charles Bearden, Colten Bradley Bearden, Braydon Dye and Monte Cash Allred.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N Frazier St #115, Conroe, TX 77301.
