Glenda Lee Porter

Glenda Lee Porter, 60, passed away at her home in Cleveland, TX on August 29, 2015. She was born on June 17, 1955 in Casper, WY. Glenda was born and raised on a Wyoming ranch where she showed horses in agricultural class. She was fascinated by nature and all of God’s beauty and she embraced creation with awe and passion. Glenda attained an Associates Degree in Administration and, after starting her family, moved to Texas to train racehorses. She was very close to her daughters, her grandchildren, and numerous others she considered family throughout her life.

Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Thelma Flowers. She is survived by her daughters, Brook Makowsky and husband, Layton, and Shyla Martinez and wife Cristy; grandchildren, Tate McManus, Skyla Ramage, and Jenna Makowsky; uncles, Don and Pete Meike; and numerous relatives and friends.
