Gerry Young

Gerry Young, age 57, died on May 23, 2014 in Shenandoah, Texas. He was born on December 17, 1956 in Hamlin, Texas, where he grew up and played football in high school. He was a rancher before becoming a partner in Ranger Oilfield Products. Gerry was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Conroe, Texas. He is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Beverly Young; son, Will Young; mother, Rita Young; sister, DeDe Hohenberger; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention but no less loved. Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass that will be celebrated at 10 am on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 109 N. Frazier, Conroe, Texas 77301. For those desiring, contributions may be made in Gerry's name to help with Melanoma Cancer Research at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas.
