Geraldine "Jerribeth" Elizabeth Scott, a beloved wife, mother, sister, caregiver, volunteer and
friend was born on June 1, 1951, and passed away unexpectedly on June 15, 2024, at the age of
73.
Jerri was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Weldon Morris and Geraldine Virginia
Morris, as well as her brother Lloyd Morris. She is survived by her loving husband of almost 54
years, Carl Scott, and their daughter, Amy Scott. She also leaves behind her sisters, Marquita
"Marky" Brower and Jeanine Sims (and husband Paul), as well as an extended family including
niece Lisa Smith, nephews Mark Brower (and wife Sandy), Rick Brower, Brian Sims (and wife
Virginia), and Josh Sims (and fiancée Dely). Great-niece Amanda Smith and great-nephews
Tyler Smith, Cody Brower (and wife Murren), Blake Brower, and Gavin Sims. She is also
remembered by a host of other relatives and friends.
A proud graduate of Pasadena High School in Pasadena, Texas, in 1969, Jerri managed to
maintain lifelong friendships with her fellow classmates. She actively participated in reunions,
trips, and regular social media interactions, keeping these connections up until her death.
Jerri's professional life included working as a secretary for various companies and with Child
Protective Services (CPS), where she made a difference in the lives of many vulnerable children
and families.
Jerri had a love for history, politics, singing, flowers, and traveling, and was a member of The
Woodland Hills Church of Christ in Conroe, Texas, for many years.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00-8:00 pm on Friday, June 28, 2024 at
Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 12412 FM 2854 Rd, Conroe, TX 77304. A funeral service will be
held at the same location at 2:30 PM on Saturday, June 29, 2024. Graveside and burial to follow
