Gene Mapes

GENE MAPES, age 58, died on Friday, December 10, 2010. Born in Houston, TX on May 6, 1952, he was a long-time Conroe area resident and served for many years on the board of directors of the Montgomery County Bowling Association. Gene is survived by his loving wife, Roxanna; daughters, Miranda and Heather Mapes; son, Michael Mapes; grandson, Kayden Willis; mother, Virginia Mapes; sister, Linda Mapes; brothers, Ray Mapes and his wife Sharon, and Larry Mapes and his wife Pam; sister-in-law, Blossom Hill; brother-in-law, Mike Hill and his wife Annette; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
