FRANCESCA ALESSANDRA ROMERO
March 24, 2008 – December 01, 2023
With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Frankie Romero. At the tender age of 15, Frankie left us on December 01, 2023, following a sudden collapse during a high school swim competition. Born in Cypress, TX, on March 24, 2008, to Alessandra Bujanda, Frankie's life, though tragically brief, was a radiant expression of joy and creativity that illuminated the lives of everyone around her.
Frankie was a bright and talented individual, celebrated for having a vibrant spirit, compassionate heart, and artistic flair. With her delightful silliness, spunky attitude, and rich sense of humor, she effortlessly brought joy, comfort, and smiles to all who were fortunate enough to cross Frankie’s path. A valued member of the Willis High School Aquakats swim team, Frankie radiated happiness that was truly contagious. Outside of the water, Frankie’s artistic pursuits extended beyond traditional forms, finding a special niche in digital art, where she skillfully brought the vivid landscapes of her imagination into reality.
The bond shared between Frankie and her twin, Alyssa, was profoundly heartwarming. Their journey together, filled with shared dreams, laughter, and their unique brand of silliness, went beyond mere siblinghood; they were best friends and confidantes. This heartbreaking loss has deeply affected Alyssa, their parents Alessandra and Ryan, brothers Tristan and Damien, family, and a wide circle of friends, leaving them to navigate immense grief.
We will celebrate the life and spirit of Frankie, which will be held on December 17, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the North Montgomery County Community Center, 600 Gerald Street, Willis, TX 77378. In lieu of flowers, a college fundraiser for Alyssa has been established, a tribute to the dreams and aspirations they shared. Contributions are welcome at

Frankie's life, though brief, was an extraordinary gift that we will cherish eternally. Rest in peace, dear Frankie.
The Star
A light went out on Earth for me
The day we said goodbye
And on that day a star was born,
The brightest in the sky
Reaching through the darkness
With its rays of purest white
Lighting up the Heavens
As it once lit up my life
With beams of love to heal
The broken heart you left behind
Where always in my memory
Your lovely star will shine
