Eugene Christopher Glowski, loving husband, father and grandpa went to be with his Lord and Savior and joined his beloved wife Katha on January 21,2022.
Eugene (Gene) was born May 19, 1951 in Marlin Texas and raised in Bremond Texas. He was the youngest son of Cecelia & Ike Glowski. He is survived by his loving children; Daughter Deborah Lynne Glowski; Daughter Karen Maciejeski and husband Walter; Son Eugene Glowski Jr.; Grandchildren Christopher Cruz; Carl Huff Jr.; Kaitlynne Huff; Heather Wriser and husband Robert and Grandson Matthew Maciejeski; his brothers Daniel (Dan) Glowski and Floyd Glowski. He also leaves behind his fur-companion "Lil Bit".
Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, brother William (Willie) Glowski, half brother Theodore Budzisz and half-sister Terry Kuzniarek, and the love of his life, wife Katha Glowski.
Eugene and Katha (McGowan) Glowski were officially married on June 6, 1971. They became members of St. Matthias Catholic Church in Magnolia Texas and received the Sacrament of Marriage in the church on September 6, 1980. They both were active members of the Church for 41 years. Gene and Katha spent 48 wonderful years together until her death on October 20, 2019. They loved to fish, camp, enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Eugene became a member of Local 22 on May 21, 1970. He worked with his brothers at Building Specialties Inc. and later for FGH Insulation in Houston Texas. He was a 51-year member of the Local 22 and was honored in 2015 with the Lifetime Achievement Award. He later went to work for Ace Fence Company and most recently with Higginbotham Brothers for the past 3-1/2 years.
Eugene (Gene) touched a lot of people's lives and will always be remembered by his amazing smile and great sense of humor. He was always such a kid at heart. We find peace in knowing he is back with his love Katha, that he missed so very much. He definitely left a legacy for us to carry forward.
Family and Friends are invited to recite the Rosary and celebrate his life on Saturday, February 5, 2022, with a visitation from 8:30 am until 9:30 am. The Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am. A Memorial Mass celebrated by Father Chris Nquyen will follow at 9:30 am at
