Erwin M Hengst

Erwin M. Hengst, age 82, passed away on June 1, 2011 in Conroe, TX. He was born in Houston. He had been a resident in Pasadena before moving to the Conroe area eleven years ago. Erwin had worked for Shell Oil and ESCH & Associates before leaving to start his own companies, EHCO, Inc. and Benchmark. In his free time, he loved boating and fishing, gardening, traveling and woodworking. He was active in The Gathering Place at the First United Methodist Church in Conroe.He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Velma Hengst; daughters, Sandra Damron and husband Charles, and Sheryl Smith and husband Steve; son, Dwayne Hengst and wife Charla; grandchildren, Kimberly, Michael, Darryl, Shannon and Mindy; one great-grandchild, Ashton Rose.
