Eric W. Christensen

Eric W. Christensen, age 49, died unexpectedly on May 2, 2011. He was born in Oxnard, CA on September 1, 1961. Eric was the youngest of seven children born to Dr. Holly R. (Chris) and Ruby Dee Christensen. He lived most of his life in California and Utah and received his BA Degree in Trombone Performance from Weber State University in Utah. He moved to the Willis area nine years ago. Eric's life was centered around his love of music. He was a journeyman stagehand and Apprenticeship Director/Administrator for I.A.T.S.E Local 99. He served as the Texas representative for Utah Theatrical Payroll. He provided music lessons at the Montgomery County Music Center, played the trombone and served as Orchestra Personnel Manager for the Conroe Symphony and was the Associate Music Minister at the First Baptist Church of Conroe.Preceded in death by his father, Dr. Holly R. (Chris) Christensen, and his siblings, Shari, Joni, Bob and Jack, he is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Beverly Hines; mother, Ruby Dee, of Orem, Utah; brothers, Rick and wife Joanne and Don and his wife Cindy; and grandchildren, Jacob and Zach Archuleta, Parker and Taylor McIntyre, Coltton Erickson and wife Stormi, Tessa and Cord Erickson and Jessica Presswood. Also survived by nieces, Jennifer Horton and husband Russell, Nika Ramos and husband James, and Melissa, Katie, Krista Christensen, and nephews, Jared Christensen and wife Jessica, Aaron Christensen and wife Michelle, Michael Christensen and wife Chi-Hsien Kuan, and Brian, Trevor, Scott, Curtis and Grant Christensen.
