Elva Gutierrez Pesina

Elva Gutierrez Pesina, age 73, passed away on January 17, 2014 with her loving family by her side. She was born on December 18, 1940 in Brownsville, TX. Elva was a faithful wife to her husband of 46 years and caring mother to her precious children. She loved her family and found joy in spending time with them and making sweet, cherishing memories. Elva is survived by her loving husband, Felipe V. Pesina; children, Felipe Pesina, Jr., Leonardo Pesina, Julio Cesar Pesina, Olga Lydia Pesina Dunn and husband Tim, Anivar Pesina, and Edward Dzengeleski, whom she treated as her own; granchildren, Austin Lawrence Dunn, Joshua Hunter Dunn, Hannah Elizabeth Dunn, Mia Bella Pesina, Julian Felipe Pesina, and Noah Michael Pesina; siblings, Raquel Castro, Yolanda Guzman, Lucindo Gutierrez, Jr., and Jovita Ledbetter; and numerous relatives and friends. Serving as pallbearers are Fransico Guzman, Jimmy Gonzalez, Joel Castro, Jaime Pesina, Andy Pesina, and Silvestre Castillo, Jr.
