Dwight Eugene Johnson

Dwight Eugene Johnson, age 57, passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife (Renee) of 33 years and his children, Zachary (30), Ashley (28), and Bethany (28) on January 2, 2019 after a long, private battle with cancer. He was born to Clarence Eugene and Shirley Jo McDonald Johnson. Soon after high school, Dwight entered the world of oil and gas, where he excelled from entry level to operations over his lifetime career. He was well respected and loved by his friends and his coworkers in the oil and gas industry. Dwight always managed to bring smiles and laughter to all he encountered. He loved traveling, eating great food, drinking fine wines and sharing with his friends. Throughout life, he leaned on his Lord & Savior, especially as he fought the fight.

He is survived by his wife, Reneé, of Conroe, TX; their son, Zachary & Colin Kingery of Tomball, TX, and twin daughters, Ashley & Nick Colborn of Humble, TX, and Bethany & Eric Ball of Willis, TX; and the loves of his life - grand dogs, Knox & Ruger.

A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at First Baptist Church of Conroe, 600 N. Main St. Conroe, Texas 77301. The following week, a memorial celebration will also be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Trinity Baptist Church, 208 Oakhill Drive Carthage, Mississippi 39051

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Dwight's name be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital. ( www.stjude.org )
