Dorothy E Mclellan

DOROTHY E. McLELLAN, age 89, passed away on August 29, 2010. She was born on April 22, 1921 in San Antonio, TX, where she was raised and graduated from Breckenridge High School. The McLellan family lived and traveled abroad for many years. The children were raised from a very early age in Venezuela. Once they "left the nest" and returned to the States, Dorothy and George transferred to Lagos, Nigeria for a few years, then to Djakarta, Indonesia and Singapore before finally retiring in Houston, TX. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, George E. McLellan; parents, Stella and Albert Riedner; and siblings, Albert Riedner and Ruth Huebinger. She is survived by her children, Sandra A. Armstrong, Deborah E. Weaver and George A. McLellan; grandchildren, Nicole Armstrong, Hope Weaver, Bruce Weaver III, James McLellan and Heather Bean; and great grandchildren, Meghan Thomas, Bruce Weaver IV and Samson Weaver.
