Donald Scott Allen

Donald Scott Allen, age 59, passed away on November 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 31, 1959 in Corpus Christi, Texas. As a child, the family lived in many different cities, such as New Orleans, Denver, Kansas City, Charlotte and Spring. Life was good growing up with his younger brother, Charles Michael Allen, and step-brother, Michael L. Brewer. Scott graduated from Klein High School in 1977 and went to A & P School. In his professional career, he was an aviation mechanic and inspector. He was apart of the Conroe Yacht Club and believed in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
Donald was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles John and Margaret Louise Blum and Clyde Thomas and Adele McCollum Allen; uncle, Thomas Joe Allen. He is survived by his son, Sean Ray Allen; grandchildren, Seth Ray, Hailey Denise and Lincoln Scott Allen; parents, Don Ray and Melanie Baker Allen and Barbara Ann and Ron Qualls; siblings, Charles Michael Allen and Michael L. Brewer; and aunt and uncle, Leigh and Charles Blum. The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at noon on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at Magnolia’s First Baptist Church, 18525 FM 1488 Rd., Magnolia, Texas 77354, with a funeral service to follow at 1 PM.
