Derrall Eugene Mcmillin

Derrall McMillin passed away on December 3, 2012. He was born on August 23, 1941 in Marshall, MO. He grew up in Elk Creek, MO, graduating from Cabool High School and attending Elk Creek Community School. He then joined the United States Air Force and served his country for nine years followed by two additional years in the Army Reserve. Professionally, he worked as a telephone central office technician and retired in 2003. Derrall enjoyed many hobbies including, flying, fishing, hunting, gardening, and reading. Derrall was preceded in death by his son, Darin Keith McMillin; father, Chester L. McMillin; and brother, Chester L. McMillin, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Doris McMillin; sons, Michael McMillin and Jeffrey McMillin and wife Kim; daughter, Dana Burt and husband Jason; grandchildren, Jessica, Justin, Josh, Adam, Blake, and Brynn McMillin, and Jonathan Burt; great granddaughter, Isabel Deleon; mother, Jessie McMillin, sister, Joyce Peabody; uncle, Jim Hall; and numerous relatives and friends.
