Derec Chavez

DEREC CHAVEZ, age 9, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at MD Anderson Cancer Center after a lifelong battle with cancer. He was born on September 4, 2002 in Conroe and was diagnosed at the age of two. He always remained upbeat and happy and never gave up hope. He liked playing with his Xbox and his Chihuahua. He is survived by his mother, Lilia Monica Chavez; father Daniel Dzib; grandma and grandpa, Amelia and Wenceslado Chavez; aunts and uncles, Marisol and Ariel Gracia, Pedro Chavez, Gustavo Chavez all of Conroe, Silvia and Remedios Uribe, Angelica and Pedro Aldaco, Christina Chavez all of Durango, Mexico.
