David O’Ryan Ivey was called to be with his eternal family on March 7, 2025, after a sudden and tragic loss.
Born on March 9/1984 in Houston, Texas, to Lea and David Wayne Ivey, David was a vibrant soul who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was known for his infectious sense of humor, his love of adventure, and his ability to make memories that would be told for years to come. Wheater he was driving to a new place or just spending time with loved ones, David was always up for making the most of every moment.
A true hard worker, David dedicated himself to his many jobs, bringing passion and skill to everything he did. He had an incredible way of connecting with people, and his dapper style and warm personality made him unforgettable. He had a heart full of compassion, always reminding those around him that we are all human and we all have a purpose in this life.
Davids caring nature extended to those in need, particularly to the elderly. When his beloved Nana grew older and needed help, David was always there, stepping in with love and support. His acts of kindness touched many, and he will be remembered as someone who genuinely cared for others.
David leaves behind a strong and loving family, including his mother, LeaEllen Swinney- Ivey; his father David Wayne Ivey; and his aunties, Karla Lee and Deborah Sims.
He is preceded in death by his beloved Nana- Willies Fay Swinney, and his papa – Jeannie Ray Swinney.
Davids’s light may have dimmed too soon, but his memory will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
