Darla Jeane Rudel

Darla Jeane Rudel, age 71, passed away peacefully into the arms of her loving Savior Jesus Christ on June 10, 2013 with family and friends by her side. Darla was a native Houstonian, born on July 5, 1941 to Ervin and Alvia Henrichs. She was a much loved mother, daughter, nana, sister, aunt, and friend. She loved traveling and spending her most cherished years with her special granddaughter, Riley Jeane, whom she adored with all her heart. She made many lasting friendships along life's journey. She had a wonderful career and retirement with James Avery, where she developed many lasting friendships. She leaves to cherish her memories: mother, Alvia Henrichs; daughter, Shawn Rudel; son, Lance Rudel; granddaughter, Riley Rudel; brother, Deuwain Henrichs; and sister, Denise Mobley. She is and will always be the bright star in all of our hearts. Well done thou good and faithful servant. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have kept the faith.
