1963 - 2024
60 year 18 days

Cindy was born Cynthia Lynn Cargill on dec 31st 1963 in Houston,Texas to
Dave Lawerence Cargill jr & Mary Ann King. Cindy was raised with her 4
other siblings David, Mary, Tina, and Sonja. Cindy attended MacArthur
High School in Houston, Texas and spent a lot of her time back in the late
70s at the roller skating rink. She would often tell stories on how her father
would throw her his car keys and say “ Duke, go get me a hamburger ”. Her
being 16 she was eager to drive, so off she went teaching herself. In the
spring of 1980 she met a young man by the name of Daniel Zapalac and
there was an instant connection and was married in 1981 in a bar in
Houston Texas wearing a pair of blue jeans & cowboy boots. She said it’s
not about what you wear..it’s about who you marry. 6 years later Daniel and
Cindy welcomed their first child Kimerbly Anne Zapalac and 2 years later
welcomed their second Danielle Renee Zapalac. In the mid 90s Cindy and
Daniel divorced and Cindy moved to Las Vegas, Nevada. There she met
and married Stanley Edward Parrett in a bingo hall, literally people playing
bingo and she was saying I do!!! You could say Cindy was never your
traditional bride and you would be right. She never did anything the way
someone said she should do it, she did it her way. Cindy had a love for
clowns and fishing, and she was a really good pool player, she even took
second place in a pool tournament in October 2023. She cared for and was
married to Stan until his death on May 13, 2016. In 2019 Cindy’s biggest
fight began. She had to fight live, fight to breathe, fight something more
powerful than we all can imagine. Her battled ended on Jan 18th 2024 in
Magnolia, Texas
She was preceded in death by David Edward Cargill, Dave Lawerence
