Childhood: As a little girl, Consuelo was a curious, playful, chocolate-loving daddy’s girl. She was greatly beloved by her parents. She lived in Spain, through World War II, until the age of 13.
Early life: In 1949, her father Luis, who was the captain of a merchant ship, moved the entire family to Venezuela to start a new life. As a young woman, she traveled the country until she finally established a family of her own. She moved to live to the U.S. in 1976, at the age of 40.
Interests and Hobbies: Consuelo was a home-maker throughout most of her life. She loved singing, dancing, and listening to old ballads. She could not live without her daily coffee, with extra cream and sugar. Consuelo loved dogs, having a recent infatuation with Chihuahuas. She enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbors.
Consuelo loved her three children. She never failed them when they needed her the most. Her son, Carlos, and his wife, Mercedes, are deeply grateful to Consuelo for seeing them through some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
She is survived by her three children: Carlos, Victor, and Maria. By her grandchildren: Carla, Victor, Luis, Desiree, Alfredo, Carvic, Maryflor, Eva, and Lupe. By her great-grandchildren: Nevaeh, Victor, David, Ariel, Fredrick, Gabriel, Donovan, Alizah, Romeo, and Azariah.
