Christopher Ian Houlihan, age 30, passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2020, in Houston, TX. He was born on May 17, 1990, in Missouri City, Texas. He was a recent graduate from the Aviation Institute of Maintenance and a current student at Purdue University where he was pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business. Chris was an extremely hard worker, with a great sense of humor. He was a great friend, kind, headstrong, and loved his family. He lived his life to the fullest. His smile would light up the room, always the life of the party.
He was preceded in death by his loving sister, Kelly Houlihan; maternal grandfather, Orris Brown Jr; and paternal grandmother, Ann Houlihan. He is survived by his wife, Ashley Houlihan; daughters, Claire and Lilah Houlihan; mother, Jeanie Houlihan; father, Timothy Houlihan; siblings, Molly Ladner, Shauna Teague and Harvest LaFrance; paternal grandfather, Terrence Houlihan; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Major.
A favorite quote of Chris’s:
“All things that live, die. This is why you must find joy in the living, while the time is yours, and not fear the end. To deny this is to deny life. To fear this... is to fear life. But to embrace this... Can you embrace this?
You are stronger than you think.”
