Charlotte Messer Scott

Charlotte "Estelle" Messer Scott, age 67, passed away on March 18, 2011. She was born on August 5, 1943 to Newton Horace and Daisy Mae Messer in Selma, Alabama. Estelle graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1962 and then went on to achieve a cosmetology degree from the Sam Houston DECA program. On April 6, 1962 she married the love of her life, Sidney LaRoy Scott. She was a loving and kind individual that made a positive impact on everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her.Estelle was preceded in death by her father, Newton Horace Messer, and her son, Doyle Lynn Scott. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Sidney LaRoy Scott; her mother, Daisy Messer of Houston; son and daughter-in-law, Charles G. and Robbie Scott of Willis; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly S. and David Bach of Spring; son and daughter-in-law, Samuel L. and Sabrina Scott of Spring; daughter-in-law, Shawna Scott of Willis; grand children: Charles Alex Scott, Ashley Brzenk, Christopher Scott, Davis Henderson, Bethany Dowlearn, Devin Scott, Chastian Scott, Kirstin Bach, Harrison Scott and Briana Bach; great-granddaughter, Erinn Bosley; brother, Rev. Glenn and wife Edra Messer; brother, Frank and wife Vickie Messer; sister, Nelda and husband John Norton; sister, Mary Jo Clinkscale; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
