Charles (Chuck) Joseph, age 69, passed away on August 25, 2022 in Houston, Texas. He was born on July 29, 1953 in Fremont, Ohio, and was raised in Fremont. He was a boy scout, played little league baseball and was also a wrestler. He loved to fish and spent many fishing days with his grandpa Donald on Lake Erie. Chuck attended Fremont Ross High School in Ohio and graduated in 1971. His last two years of high school he attended Vanguard Vocational School where he earned his certificate as a Tool and Die Maker.
Chuck started working at UPS while still in high school. After graduating from high school, he started his professional career as a Tool and Die Maker at Kelsey Hayes in Fremont, Ohio. He lived at Catawba Island on Lake Erie, Ohio his early years. He served as a Catawba Island Volunteer Fireman and EMS. Chuck also had a love for Lake Erie and Captained his own boat for charter fishing, cruises and yacht delivery. Chuck also enjoyed golfing and loved taking his dad on his many golf outings. He was a free spirit with a passion for motorcycles and loved traveling around the country on his Harley Davidson enjoying life.
Chuck worked at Kelsey Hayes from 1971 until the company shut down in 2005. He dedicated 34 years of his life to this company and worked very hard as a precision machinist. In 2005 Chuck moved south to Houston, Texas to be closer to his parents and sister and continued his career as a Tool and Die Maker with Goodman Manufacturing in Houston. In 2011 he bought his Mount Pleasant Lake home in Montgomery, Texas and started his employment with Schmidt Tools in Conroe, Texas and Daikin in Houston a subsidiary of Goodman Manufacturing where he worked until he his health declined.
Chuck was a volunteer fireman and EMS. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Fremont, Ohio. He was baptized and confirmed Lutheran.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Richard Joseph; grandparents, Donald and Alice Joseph, Ludwig and Rosalia Karl; uncle, Roy Joseph. He is loved by his mother, Martha Joseph; sisters, Renate Pealer, Sandra Silva and Janice Pasch. Also loved and missed by Daniella Tucker, Mary Pollard, grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
