Charles Lynn Grisham

June 30, 1966 — November 1, 2015

Charles Grisham was born in Pasadena, Texas on June 30, 1966. He was born to William Grisham Sr. and Belva Fletemeyer. He was the last to be born from a set of twins. He was always reminded that he was the baby, being six minutes younger than his sister. He was the youngest of four living children as a child. He was raised in Pineville, La. And Pasadena, TX. He worked as a young man in the Construction field and he was a Master Electrician in his last working years. He fell on hard times the last 15 years of his life, with many health issues, some due to an accident and tried many years to resolve many of those issues.
He is survived by his mother Belva Strain, sisters Sarah James and twin sister, Charlotte Jones. He is survived by many children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, uncles/aunt and other loved friends and family. He was a surrogate dad to many. He was well loved and tried to help all in need and would give the shirt off his back. He was Baptist in faith and a Christian since childhood.
Charlie loved music, t.v. and had the worst handwriting ever, but we loved him even when it was hard to read his letters or notes.
Charles passed away due to several strokes, brain bleed and ultimately an infection. He had fought the good fight and ultimately he lost, knowing he would be in a permanent home in Heaven, without pain, in his body.
Charlie as most of his loved ones called him was a wonderful man, friend and loved one. He will be sadly missed, he knows he is in our hearts with us always and we will meet again! He was not always the best man, best parent or best person, but he was human, loved us all and he was forgiven.
