Charles Lavelle Carlile

Charles Lavelle Carlile, age 74, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 20, 2016 in Conroe, Texas. Lavelle was born on September 25, 1941 in Houston, Texas to Charles Wilmer and Sadie Lee Carlile. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 54 years, Bobbie ‘Honey’ Carlile, on June 14, 2016; his parents, sister, Jean Victoria and infant daughter, Margaret Lynn. He leaves his memories to be cherished by his daughters, Kim Scholwinski and Kayla Merryfield and husband Jon Merryfield; grandchildren, Tori and Regan Merryfield and JR Scholwinski and a host of friends and family. We would like to give a special thank you to Jay, Rod, Bernie and all of daddy’s friends and family members for your love and support during the past three months. Lavelle touched the lives of many people with his humor, innocent smile, and generosity. His presence not only at heifer shows and soccer games will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Fly High Bubba.
A Memorial Gathering and Celebration of Life will be held Friday, September 23, 2016 from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N. Frazier, St. 115, Conroe, TX 77301. Please feel free to come by during this time and share your stories and memories of Lavelle.
