Charles L. Bonner, age 76, was born on March 12, 1944 to Dorothy and Albert Bonner in Houston, Texas, where he grew up with his five siblings: Diane, Randall, Dorothy, Earl and Michael. Charles loved fishing and hunting with his son and hauling his daughters all over Texas to barrel race. He was a dog lover until his last days. Charles grew up in the Houston area and graduated from Aldine High School. Charles married his high school sweetheart, Carol, and raised three children together, until her death in January of 1991. Charles spent his professional career as a mechanic in the diesel industry.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Bonner, and parents, Dorothy and Albert Bonner. Charles is survived by his ex-wife and friend, Rosemary Bonner; children: Kris Machajewski (Dennis), Chuck Bonner (Jennifer Hendrickson), and Kathleen Wiley (Brad Plantz); grandchildren, Paxton Alexander, Gaibrial Kieper, Lauren Wiley, and Kaytlin Bonner; as well as great-grandchildren, Luna Alexander, Ophelia Alexander, and Kinsley Barragan.
