Carla Bailey

CARLA BAILEY, age 58, passed away peacefully at her home in Magnolia, Texas surrounded by family on January 21, 2014. She was the oldest of four children born on April 29, 1955 in Greenville, SC to Dick and Marion Simpson. Moving to Texas with her family as a child, they settled in Temple where her father had a successful auto dealership after retiring from the U.S. Air Force. Carla was a graduate of Temple High School and had most recently worked for BJ Services/Baker Hughes in Tomball and Philips Electronics in Alpharetta, GA. She was currently an active member at Wildwood United Methodist Church, where she touched many lives. She was preceded in death by her father and is survived by her husband, Edward Bailey; children, Cody Marshall and wife Sofie and Jennifer Bailey; grandchildren, Dawson, Grace and Suri Marshall; mother, Marian Simpson; and siblings, Barry Simpson and wife Tracy, Drew Simpson and wife Ellie, and Cathie Johnson; numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends and co-workers across the country.
