Burkett (Skip) H. Benskin

Burkett H. "Skip" Benskin, age 84, died on Wednesday, April 20, 2011. He was born in Rocksprings, TX on May 26, 1926 to Howard Marion and Nellie Benskin. Skip had owned a towing/storage service in Houston for many years. After retiring, he enjoyed helping his son at his auto repair shop. Skip also had a lifelong appreciation for playing music.He was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters, Helen Ruth, Bettye Jo, Charlotte and Martha. He is survived by his son, O Dell Benskin and wife Lisa; granddaughter, Kourtney Benskin; sister, Marian Champion; and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends.In lieu of flowers and usual remembrances, contributions made directly to the family would be greatly appreciated.
