Brian J Ross of Houston, Texas died unexpectedly on February 16, 2021.
Brian was born in Omaha, Nebraska on February 17, 1960 to John & Phyllis Ross. He grew up in Houston with his brother and sisters. He attended Milby High School graduating in 1978. He was a member of the National Honor Society, English Honor Society and Science Honor Society. He was on the Tennis Team, Math Team and was in the Chess Club. He went on to attend Texas A&M University majoring in Mechanical Engineering and graduating in 1982.
After graduating he went to work for Kemlon Products & Development in Pearland, Texas where he made many lifelong friends. He also worked for Baker Hughes in Houston, Texas.
Brian loved the military and strategy and trounced anyone who dared to play against him in games like Chess, Risk, Monopoly, and Dungeons and Dragons, to name a few. His biggest loves, however, were his 2 English Labs Choco and Duke, who were basically his children.
Brian loved being around family and celebrating birthdays and holidays. He was a very caring and generous man. He would help anyone who was in need.
Brian is preceded in death by his father John Ross and mother Phyllis Ross. He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen Degelia of Montgomery, Texas and Sara Chadwick of Anderson, Texas and brother, Randal Ross of Houston, Texas.
A Rite of Committal will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 8227 CR-205, Plantersville, Texas 77363.
