Brenda Sue Cryer

Brenda Sue Cryer, age 75, passed away on June 11, 2024 in The Woodlands, Texas. She was born on October 17, 1948 in Winnfield, Louisiana. She lived in various parts of Louisiana until moving to Texas in her later childhood. She attended all 12 years of school, but did not graduate. She did, however, receive her GED later in her life. Brenda was a nanny in her young adult life, then went into many fields of occupation, such as: a seamstress, a welder’s helper, Montessori teacher, then a nurse’s aid at Memorial Hermann. She attended First Baptist Church in Columbus, Texas.

Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Ray Cooper; sisters, Carlene Stanley, and Diane Watts. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Lee; grandchildren, Elizabeth Couvillion and Rebecca Maddox; great grandchildren, Thomas, and Anna Rose Couvillion; mother, Delores Cooper; sisters, Judith Haynes, and Rita Cusack; brother, Raymond Cooper.
