Bobbie Lou Bullacher, age 71, passed away at her home in Conroe, Texas on July 11, 2020. She was born on February 5, 1949 in Houston, Texas to Mary Etta (Cougot) and Scot Harold Quin. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, grandmother, and friend. Bobbie lived a long, full life and was always up for an adventure in her younger days. During the 1980s, she served on Ronald Reagan’s Presidential Task Force, writing and illustrating a children’s book aimed at keeping children off of drugs. She traveled extensively and has always loved being outdoors whether hunting, fishing, camping, swimming, or gardening. She was a talented artist primarily sketchIng and painting portraits throughout her life. Bobbie was the type of person that never met a stranger. She had a big heart and loved to surprise those in her life with gifts and food. She was a long-time employee of Dillard’s and Kroger’s and retired from The Woodlands Mall Dillard’s after over 15 years of service. She doted on her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren as often as she could and cherished every opportunity that she could spend time with them.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Christopher Lee Walley. She is survived by her daughters, Brandi Bullacher Mendenhall and Charlan Bullacher Hoot; grandchildren, Destiny Nicole Mathes and James Thomas Mendenhall; great-grandchildren, Logan Marie, Lincoln Faith and Adaline Nicole; sister, Barbara “Sissie” Mize; aunt and uncle, Lillian Buchanan and Glenn Cougot.
