Betty Mae Freeland, beloved mother, wife daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend passed away after a series of medical issues over the previous year. Born in Houston, Texas she made her home there until recently moving to Huntsville to spend time with family. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them with love and attention. She loved to shop for surprises for them and was always on the lookout for something special. With a green thumb, she liked to collect and grow plants and flowers. She enjoyed nature and passed this love to her children.
She is preceded in death by her husband William Freeland, sister Frances Dee Smith brother William T. Webb, and parents Harry T. Webb and Jessie Mae Webb.
She is survived by her siblings Jimmy Webb, Laverne Webb, Janice Ross, and Patsy Tarver, her daughter Jennifer Freeland, son in law Thomas Creighton, their children Sarah Davis and Evan Custer; son Eric Freeland and daughter in law Yvette Hebinck Freeland and their children Lorelei Cauffman and Miranda Freeland. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends, extended family, and her beloved dog bibbles who loved her very much and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
