Belinda Kay Spikes Gorby

Belinda Kay Spikes Gorby, age 59, passed away peacefully at her home in Willis, Texas, on August 12, 2025. Born on June 11, 1966, in Conroe, Texas, Belinda was the cherished eldest child of Tommy and Yvonne Spikes.

Belinda was a woman of warmth, creativity, and unwavering love. She found joy in spending time with her family and friends, always nurturing meaningful connections and creating lasting memories. Her artistic spirit shone through in the crafts she lovingly made, each one a reflection of her generous heart.

She adored her grand pups, Belle and Beast, and treasured road trips with her lifelong best friend, Tina. Belinda was a devoted supporter of her family, especially her son and nieces, proudly cheering them on in every endeavor they pursued. Her love was unconditional, and her presence brought comfort and joy to all who knew her.

Belinda is survived by her loving parents, Tommy and Yvonne Spikes; her beloved son, Dakota Spikes; her brother and sister-in-law, James and Jena Spikes; her grand pups, Belle and Beast Spikes; her nieces, Jordan Spikes and Jamie Cram, and nephew-in-law Dennis Cram; along with numerous other family members and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Villa Hutchinson, Viola Erickson, and Tom Spikes.

A memorial service to celebrate Belinda’s life will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 3:30 PM at Eickenhorst Funeral Home, located at 12412 FM 2854 Road, Conroe, Texas 77304. Following the service, family and friends are invited to gather for food and fellowship at the home of her brother, James Spikes.
