Barbara Jean Smith Nelson

Barbara Jean Smith Nelson, age 75, of Willis, Texas, passed away at home on Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Willis. She is survived by her daughters, Evelyn Nelson of Willis and Heidi Beckham and husband Don of Willis. She is also survived by her brother, Ira Steve Smith Jr. of Hondo, Texas; her sisters, Diana Smith of San Antonio, Texas and Cathy Roescher of Castle Rock, Colorado; as well as numerous nieces and nephews around the country.

Viewing will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Tree of Life Lutheran Church in Conroe, Texas. A funeral service will immediately follow at 5:00 PM. Interment will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Jourdanton, Texas.
