August Devane Hill, age 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 13, 2018, surrounded by his loving family and friends. He was born on August 1, 1938 in Montgomery, Texas to Barley and Carrie Hill, and was the youngest of ten children. He graduated from Montgomery High School in 1957, of which he was a member of the school’s first football team.
