Anneke 'Ann' Elisabeth (Dogger) Siede

November 21, 1944 — November 17, 2021

Anneke 'Ann' Elisabeth (Dogger) Siede went to be with her Savior on November 17. Ann was born on November 21, 1944 in Badhoevedorp Netherlands during the midst of a bombing raid in WWII while in a complete blackout. The family emigrated to the US establishing themselves in the Cleveland, Ohio area when she was 8. She and her school age siblings attended school learning to read, write and speak English by immersion. Ann is the second oldest of 8 children born to the late Henry Dogger and Anita Van der Meer-Dogger: Ankie (Paul) Amos, John (Kathy) Dogger, Fran (Gary - dec.) Bilski, Seerk (Donna) Dogger, Bill (Carol) Dogger, Howard (Pam) Dogger and Pete (Debbie) Dogger. Ann attended Lutheran High West in Cleveland and went onto to marry Fred Siede. They had 4 children: Paul (Paula) Schoch, Carla (Frank) Seber, Rhonda (Mark) Berry and Kristen Siede; 9 Grandchildren: Sadie, Hallie, Jessie, PJ, Allyson, Jake, Noah, Luke, and Paige; and 7 great-grandchildren. Ann was a loyal and giving friend and will be missed by many. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 45 years, Fred.

Fred and Ann moved to Texas in 1977 where Ann developed her love of music. She was an accomplished self-taught pianist, serving as the organist and music director for Living Word Lutheran Church and then Tree of Life Lutheran Church. In addition to music, Ann also loved sewing and quilting. She made numerous quilts for friends and family over the years. Ann moved to Bentonville Arkansas in 2015 where she served the community volunteering at a Food Pantry.

To no one’s surprise Ann had all the music and bible verses written out for this service years ago, for this we are thankful.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Tree of Life Lutheran Church in Conroe TX on December 4 at 10AM. Visitation will be prior to the service at 9AM.

To honor Ann’s wishes please direct any memorials to the Food Pantry at Christ the King Lutheran Church (406 W. Central Ave, Bentonville AR 72712) or Serenity’s Haven Assisted Living (8727 Seber Dr., Tomball TX 77375).
