    Rudolph Adam Jr.

    May 31, 1940 - January 6, 2017

    Rudolph Adam Jr., age 76, passed away on January 6, 2017. He was born on May 31, 1940 in San Antonio, Texas. Rudy, as he was known, grew up in San Antonio. He enjoyed acting in plays, chess, basketball, and school choir. He graduated from Edgewood High School in San Antonio in 1958 and honorably served in the Army for 6 years. In addition to his service in the armed forces, he was a Radio DJ in Panama under the pseudonym “Ronnie Ace”. His professional career started as a Programmer for National Cash Register (NCR), then he started his own business (Adam Systems Integrated) as a Systems Analyst. His most recent career venture was the business owner of SMA Computer Consulting Service. Rudy served as Grand Knight in the Knights of Columbus for Sacred Heart Catholic church in Conroe, TX. As of late, he could be found most mornings enjoying the vibrant philosophical discussions of the local Coffee Club. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Maria and Rudolph Adam Sr. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Moran Adam; children, Rudolph “Ronnie” Adam III and his wife Jessica Adam, Thomas “Chris” Adam, Denise Octaviano and her husband Hugo Octaviano and Laura MacPherson and her husband Keith MacPherson; grandchildren, Graciela Octaviano, Hugo “Hugito” Octaviano Jr, Briana Octaviano, Tyler Mullins, Matthew Adam, Caleb Mullins, Sofia Octaviano, Sarah Adam and Aiden “AJ” Mullins; sister, Velma Adam; and brothers, Robert Adam, Raul Adam and Richard Adam. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6 pm until 8 pm on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N. Frazier at Wilson, Suite 115, Conroe, TX 77301. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services. Graveside services and burial will follow in Houston National Cemetery.
