    Patricia Woodson Minor

    June 19, 1937 - October 17, 2021

Patricia Woodson Minor of Montgomery, TX was born in Alba, TX on June 19, 1937, to Conard Escor and Ruby Jewell Woodson and passed away in Conroe, TX on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the age of 84 to be with the Lord in her heavenly home. She was a devoted woman who loved the Lord, her family, church, and community. She cared deeply for others and spent her entire life prayerfully serving and letting her light shine for Jesus. Her deepest desire was for all to accept Jesus in their heart. Patricia grew up in Alba and Corpus Christi, TX and graduated from Sundeen High School in 1955. She went on to graduate from the University of Corpus Christi in 1959 with a B.A. in Religious Education. She then attended Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. During those years, she was involved in acting in local plays. She spent many years working in Admissions in Houston for Rapha Treatment Centers, The Shoulder, and Kelsey-Seybold before retiring to spend time with family. Patricia spent her life volunteering in local churches, teaching Sunday School and Bible Studies, assisting Missionaries, and helping with children’s programs. She loved reading, sewing, drawing, pot-luck dinners and game day. However, she mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was brilliantly artistic and witty. Her laugh was infectious, lighting up every room with her smile. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Conard Escor and Ruby Jewell Woodson, and her brother Jerry Wayne Woodson. She is survived by her daughter Valerie Krizan (Greg); grandchildren, Mallorie and Luke Krizan (Ashlyn); great grandchildren, Elouise Krizan-Romero, Braylynn and Beau Krizan; sister, Lynn Ellis (Stan); sister in law, Sue Woodson; aunt Dorothy Campbell; and close friend Carol Wilson. Patricia is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and lifelong friends and her beloved cat, Valentino. Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Eickenhorst Funeral Services, 1712 N Frazier St #115, Conroe, TX 77301. The Celebration of Life will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at First Montgomery Baptist Church, 20423 Eva St, Montgomery, TX 77356. There will be a lunch reception immediately following. Graveside and burial will be at 2:30 PM October 26, 2021 in Earthman Resthaven Cemetery at 13102 N Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be made to the Children’s Ministry, First Baptist Church, Cloudcroft, New Mexico, https://www.fbccloudcroft.org
