    Pamela Lynn Behnke

    April 12, 1951 - May 24, 2021

Pamela Lynn Behnke, 70, passed away May 24, 2021 in The Woodlands, TX where she had recently relocated to be near her family. Pam was born April 12, 1951 in Menominee, MI to Mariom (Skip) and Hazel (Becker) Dault. She graduated from Menominee High in 1969. Pam was a long time resident of Niagara, WI where she was an active member of St. Anthony’s Church, Niagara Senior Center, and the community as a whole. Before retiring in February of 2015, Pam had a career in Sales starting in Marquette, then at the Gamble Store, which later became Bob's Sporting and Hardware Store in Niagara, after which she worked at Rocconi’s Ace Hardware in Iron Mountain, and finished her career at Fastenal in Kingsford. Throughout the years she enjoyed the people she worked with, interacting with her “regulars”, finding obscure items, and making deliveries to the “mills” in the area. Pam is survived by her children, Shana (Matt) Bolen and granddaughter Emerson, Zach (Krissy) Behnke and grandsons Maximus and Magnus, all of The Woodlands, TX. She is also survived by her siblings Cheryl (Peter) Galowski, Green Bay, WI, Tom Dault, Menominee, MI and Steve (Angi) Dault, Pekin, IL., her former father-in-law Richard Behnke, and five nieces and seven nephews. Pam loved being part of the “silent sporters”. She enjoyed the outdoors, kayaking, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, and biking all of which she did with her trusted dog pal Polo. She often invited family, neighbors and friends for “wonderful potlucks and lots of laughs”. People commented that her winter solstice party was always the highlight of the year. She liked to entertain, was an organizer, and always there for a friend. Above all she loved being Grammy to her 3 grandchildren. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, sister-in-law, Sandy Dault, former mother-in-law, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. There will be a private celebrations of Pam's life at later dates. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to https://www.americanrivers.org/ , https://www.almosthomeanimalsheltermi.com, or a charity of your choice! Pam, mom, sister, friend, beloved Grammy….we love you and you will be greatly missed by so many. We carry your memory in our hearts.
